Set in England, Brian, heir to the Victor Group, has been obsessed with his childhood friend Claire for fifteen years, though she sees him only as a cold, arrogant rival. After a drunken encounter, he binds her to him by contract, and they start a fake business marriage full of mutual maneuvering.
