Heartbroken, Claire marries a stranger on the spot — Adrian, a man everyone mocks as a penniless blue-collar worker.
What she doesn't know: Adrian is the president of Cross Capital, the man who controls the city's entire economy. When Adrian's convoy storms in to rescue his wife, and the head of the Sinclair family recognizes the Cross president at the hospital, Ethan and Vanessa's illusion of power shatters completely.
