Hatching the Dragon Commander

Freya is the weakest sparrow in her family — ordinary genes, no future. When her arrogant fiancé hands her a stone-hard egg and sneers, "Hatch it, and I'll marry you," she accepts. For two months she feeds it the secret power she's hidden all her life. Then the shell cracks.

What crawls out isn't a bird. It's the Empire's missing Dragon Commander — and he has already decided who she belongs to. Her fiancé wants her back. He's three months too late.
