Five years ago, Su Yin, the adopted daughter of the Su family, saved Li Hanchen. However, her younger sister Su Xue falsely claimed the credit. Li Hanchen felt only guilt toward Su Xue, not love, and refused to marry her. In a fit of rage, Su Xue drugged him, but the plan backfired—it was Su Yin who ended up with him instead, while Su Xue was violated by thugs and became pregnant. Su Xue then framed Su Yin for everything, causing Li Hanchen and the Su family to despise Su Yin.
Eventually, Li Hanchen discovered Su Xue’s schemes, punished her, and drove her away. Su Xue later returned with a powerful backer to seek revenge against Su Yin. To save Su Yin, Li Hanchen sacrificed his fortune and was severely injured. In a critical moment, he confessed that he had never harmed Su Yin—it was all Su Xue’s plot—earning Su Yin’s forgiveness. Su Xue was imprisoned, and Su Yin reunited with her daughter, leading to a happy reunion of the family of three.
