From the Ashes of Dunmere

In her last life, dragons razed Dunmere while her husband, Captain Cedric, abandoned the town to throw his mistress a birthday feast. Pregnant, Wen crawled through storm-drains to save everyone herself — only to watch Cedric butcher her for it after his lover died, breaking her legs and throwing her off a bridge to die.

Now she wakes on the morning of the attack again. This time, if Cedric wants to play hero for his precious lady, she'll let him — and let fate take its course.
