In 19th-century London, Catherine is abandoned by her fiancé Henry—until the mysterious Duke William rescues and marries her. Three years later, Henry and his heiress wife Mary humiliate the seemingly modest Catherine, unaware she is the Duchess. At a royal ball, William reveals her true status and destroys them.
But when Mary attacks their son, Catherine is badly injured. William then reveals he was once the stable boy Catherine saved. Five years later, the disgraced couple returns as pirates—and kidnaps Catherine’s daughter.
