My Dad Is the Night Emperor

He’s the Night Emperor, a 1,300-year-old badass who can crush a demigod with a single slap, yet he’s spent the last 300 years chilling in Brooklyn selling used books. She’s the Holy See's purest Saintess, cursed with the "Fire of Desire" by her fiancé. She smashed through his window, threw herself into his arms, slept with him for a night, and then bolted with his Emperor's token. Ten years later, she shows up covered in blood with a little girl who has heterochromia. "This is your daughter.

If you don't take responsibility, I'll die right here in front of you." He thought retirement was just drinking coffee and fishing, until four demigods laid siege to the Vatican. He walks out, coffee in hand, and casually deflects all the forbidden spells with one hand. "Touch my daughter, and you die."
