Three hundred years ago, a powerful dragon kingdom fell to betrayal. Draven Nighthorn, the last ancient black dragon, was cursed by human sorcerers and imprisoned in the Obsidian Mountains, branded an evil dragon forever.
For generations, the human Temple has secretly orchestrated sacrificial rituals to break the seal on an ancient evil god. When young Serena is chosen as the final sacrifice, her loyal knight Caspian vows to bring her back. In the dragon's lair, Serena meets the terrifying Draven—and discovers he is no ruthless destroyer, but a victim of betrayal who has guarded a terrible secret for three centuries. She learns she is a descendant of the lost dragon royal bloodline, possessing the power to purify ancient curses. Together they uncover the truth: the Temple has been the mastermind behind the tragedy all along. With the evil god on the verge of awakening, Serena must awaken her dragon bloodline and join forces with Draven, Caspian, and their allies to confront the darkness—breaking the ancient curse and ushering in the rebirth of the dragon race.
