THE GOLD CAGE

Seven years ago, Joanna was diagnosed with lymphoma. To spare her beloved Ethan, she staged a betrayal with a friend and drove him to London. Seven years later, Ethan returns, believing Joanna is a gold-digger, and forces her into a confining marriage.

Hiding her illness, Joanna endures humiliation as her cancer relapses. The truth comes too late — Joanna passes away. Overcome with remorse, Ethan reveals everything, donates his fortune to a cancer foundation, and ultimately takes his own life to rest forever beside his beloved.
