The Dragon King's Runaway Bride

Born cursed and promised to a Dragon King, Elara studies a black dragon in the Forbidden Woods, unaware he is the king she fled as a child. When she teaches him to court, he chooses her. A pursuit seals their blood pact, breaks her curse and restores a forgotten promise.

Held in his lair, she falls for the lonely dragon, but Opal doubts her love. Pregnant with his child, Elara turns the tables, capturing him at the Academy to win recognition for his kind and prove she is no longer running.
