Disheartened, Ivy decided to pick a new partner. Contrary to everyone’s expectations of another high-ranked beast, she chose a crazed C-class waste snake locked in the cage’s darkest corner.
No one knew the dying white serpent was the world’s highest-ranked Basilisk—the legendary Snake King. The regretful silver fox tried to return, only to find he was no longer worthy of her. Standing side by side with the Snake King, Ivy made all scorners pay the price.
