Princess Nefer falls for Babylon’s King Ilu-Sin at first sight. After five years of marriage, she learns she was only a pawn to save his adopted sister. The king she admired was hiding a forbidden love.
Heartbroken, Nefer leaves Babylon and returns to Egypt. When Ilu-Sin realizes he loves her, it’s too late—she’s already someone else’s wife. The king who had everything has lost the only woman he can’t live without.
