The story

Shawn had loved Yen for years, and after a lot of struggles, he finally married her, thinking they'd have a happy life. But then, he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Devastated, he decided he didn’t want Yen to suffer with him or waste her life. To spare her, he asked An Xin to help him lie and planned to divorce her, hoping she'd move on and live a better life without him. But he underestimated Yen’s love and smarts. She quickly saw through the lie.
After spending so much time with him, she could tell something was off—his coldness, his excuses, his expressions all gave him away. When the truth came out, they stood there, silent, overwhelmed by pain, helplessness, and uncertainty about the future. Yen understood his intentions, but she couldn’t just leave him. Shawn, caught in his own lie, didn’t know what to do next. Their love was torn between his good intentions and the harsh reality, leaving them both at a crossroads.
