Hitchhiker's End

Desperate to fund his son's surgery, unemployed coder Ethan follows trucker uncle Wayne into Death Valley, a lawless desert where Wayne preys on hitchhikers. Backpacker Maya's arrival exposes a three-year-old murder; she's an undercover cop seeking revenge.

Through blackmail, Russian roulette, and trafficking, Ethan transforms from coward to fighter, joining Maya in a fiery gas station reckoning.
