Nino Shen, diagnosed with heart failure and abandoned, endures abuse while her mother, Hidi Yu, becomes Asia’s richest woman and searches for her. Seventeen years later, Hidi Yu is deceived by Nino’s adoptive sister, Cindy.
Despite severe hardships, Nino’s spirit remains strong. Hidi Yu eventually discovers the truth, and after a long struggle, Nino awakens from a coma, leading to a heartfelt reunion with her mother.
