The story
Twelve years ago, Princess Cassandra of Achaea saved Leon, Crown Prince of Mycenae, but her sister Lila stole the ruby laurel crown and was mistaken for his savior. After years of betrayal, favoritism, and Leon’s cruelty, Cassandra gives up on him and agrees to marry the King of Thrace.
Only after she leaves does Leon discover the truth. Devastated, he punishes everyone who wronged her—only to learn she is about to marry King Batus.
