The story

The Shadow Clan, a secretive tribe that had lived for generations on the secluded Lunar Archipelago, found themselves the target of covetous forces from all sides due to the vast uranium deposits hidden beneath the islands. Internal strife among the clan's island lords had only worsened the situation. When the late Shadow King was assassinated, he entrusted his final wishes to his secretly trained disciple—Jere, the Emperor of the Phantom Syndicate, the most infamous assassin guild in the world.

Jere was tasked with uncovering the truth behind the assassination and seeking vengeance for his fallen mentor. At the same time, the late king placed his daughter, Dorothy, the newly ascended Shadow Queen, under Jere's care and protection.
