The story

Caelum, crown prince of Vorrath, once pledged his heart to Seren of Lysara on the Stargazer's Perch. That promise shattered when Seren's father, Korrath, invaded Vorrath and wiped out Caelum's family. Korrath forced Seren to strike Caelum down; Seren aimed away from any fatal mark and let him live.

A decade later a masked commander arrives with a fleet and ends Korrath's life. The man behind the mask is Caelum, and he has returned to claim Seren as his slave. Seren carries the guilt of a killing he never truly committed, while Caelum believes the boy he loved betrayed him utterly. The guide follows these two princes and the shadow of Korrath: a vow broken by a father's cruelty, a mercy hidden inside an apparent murder, and a reunion built on revenge. Love and vengeance pull in opposite directions, and the truth of that night on the Stargazer's Perch waits beneath the blood. Caelum, the prince who lost everything, comes back masked and commanding a fleet. Seren, the prince forced to kill his beloved, deliberately spared his life. Korrath, Seren's father, destroys Vorrath and sets the tragedy in motion. A vow on the Stargazer's Perch haunts both men ten years later. Caelum's revenge turns Seren into a slave, while the truth stays buried.
