Feelings Beyond the Bet

At a truth‑or‑dare party, Lark learns her ex‑boyfriend Rhys dated her for a bet. He disavows all his drunken confessions, deletes her contact publicly, and returns to his childhood friend Mae. Transfer student Nikolai, who once helped Lark on a bus, becomes her deskmate.

Lark keeps her distance at first because he is Rhys’s friend. After misunderstandings clear, they grow close. When Rhys realizes his mistake and tries to win her back, he finds his best friend has fallen for her.
