The story

The solar helium flash threatened Earth with annihilation. Led by Mason, humanity initiated the Wandering Earth Project. When the sun erupted prematurely, only Sopdale escaped destruction. Reborn in his youth, Mason invented the helium-3 engine and presented it at the UN to reverse the project's veto. Most nations doubted its validity.

Volunteers from Mason's country activated the support systems, perishing to prove its function. Sopdale remained unconvinced and sought to claim the technology. Global pressure forced a reconsideration, yet Sopdale persisted in obstruction. Ultimately, united human determination prevailed, and the Wandering Earth Project was approved.
