Eight Minutes to Choose My Alpha

Eight minutes before her mating ceremony, Mara watches her fated mate fuss over her best friend. She calls the Alpha King and refuses to choose Nolan. Then she sees her ring on her friend's hand.

When her ceremony decorations are ruined, Nolan demands that Mara apologize to the woman he keeps protecting. As he counts down, another boat approaches. A voice cuts across the water: "Mara, I came for you."
