The Queen's Substitute Lover

Queen Catherine believes her knight Elliott died for her throne. Grieving, she takes look-alike stable-hand Adrian as substitute lover. Power-hungry Adrian betrays her with Beatrice, ruins her garden and desecrates Elliott's tomb—until his beauty mark is cut and her delusion shatters.

Elliott lives, bitter from war. When fallen Adrian joins William's coup, Catherine crushes treason and reunites with her love.
