The story

Emma, pregnant and involved in a car accident, desperately sought help from her fiancé, Nathan. However, influenced by his first love for another woman, Nathan fled the scene when he saw that Emma couldn't bear the sight of blood. After losing the child, Emma faced further career sabotage as Nathan showed favoritism towards Ella. He even forced Emma to give up her room out of pity for Ella.

Nathan's indifference was a wake-up call for Emma; she resolutely decided to leave him and accepted Dean's marriage proposal, a man with whom she had an arranged childhood engagement. Meanwhile, at the wedding venue, Nathan, confident in his hold over Emma, was stunned to discover she was missing. As he instructed his subordinates to find her, he witnessed Emma marrying Dean. He couldn't believe she would truly leave him, which set off his frantic efforts to rekindle their relationship.
