Her stepmother Serena, who wants the succession for her own daughter Lyra, sees Elara's mercy as weakness. She orchestrates trials, ambushes, and public humiliation to break her. Yet Elara survives the Alpha Trial, storms a silver mine to rescue Silas, and claims her rightful place as heir. But a forged letter poisons her bond with Silas, and he walks away. In the finale, Elara breaks through the doors to save her loyal servant—only to face Thorne's blade lunging for her back.
