Stay-at-home mom Claire Sterling files for divorce after catching her husband, Jared Thorne, cheating. Her son, Leonard Thorne, feigns loyalty to his dad to secure Claire a fair settlement, giving her the foundation to start over. Encouraged by Leonard and her best friend, Claire launches a business on a community group-buying platform. Jealous of her success, Jared attempts to ruin her by swapping her warehouse inventory with counterfeit goods.

Along the way, Claire falls for Oliver Montgomery. Together with Leonard, they gather evidence and report Jared to the Department of Consumer Affairs, ultimately sending him to prison. In the end, Claire's business thrives, she marries Oliver, and they build a happy, loving family.
