A comical twist of fate binds Sarah Milton, a college dropout working as a janitor, in a ludicrous whirlwind marriage to billionaire Daniel Rodney. When the pair immediately demand a divorce, they’re informed of Los Angeles’ mandatory six-month cooling-off period. To reclaim control of his corporate empire, Daniel decides to exploit the situation by concealing his identity as "ordinary" Daniel Brown and proposing a six-month contractual marriage with Sarah. As their forced cohabitation deepens, the icy transactional relationship begins to thaw into unexpected warmth.

Just as they tentatively open their hearts, the return of Matt – Sarah’s childhood sweetheart – to LA injects fresh turmoil into this unconventional romance. With the half-year deadline looming, will their marriage dissolve as planned or birth unforeseen possibilities? Can two souls from diametrically opposed worlds rewrite destiny through emotions that transcend their contractual agreement?
