The story

Beth doted on her dog Avery recklessly, bringing public criticism to her family. Just as her son, Gavin, was promoted to General Manager of a local club, she let Avery mess around there and ignored her daughter-in-law Lexi's neutering suggestion. Outside the club, Avery nearly injured someone.
A vet warned of its aggression, but Beth harassed critics online, assaulted the vet, and kept causing trouble. Avery grew increasingly unruly, eventually causing a major incident. The family paid a heavy price for their actions, and Beth herself was bitten by Avery, reaping what she sowed.
