On the road of exile, Lin Mo is secretly followed by Su Xiaoxiao, Eldest Princess of Northern Yan, who has infiltrated Chu Yue’s court for three years. When they spend the night in a ruined temple, Lin Mo sees through her identity. Su Xiaoxiao instantly slays the corrupt officers, drops to one knee and says: "I am the Eldest Princess of Northern Yan.

I will follow you to conquer the world." Lin Mo decides to turn the situation to his advantage. Along the way, he uses the Any Door to bring out compressed biscuits to save refugees, and transports generators and searchlights to light up camps. The refugees kneel and shout that he "brought down the sun". At Yanmen Pass, he cooks porridge with hundreds of sacks of polished rice and pork outside the pass. The defending troops mutiny and open the gate to surrender. When five thousand black-armored cavalry come to hunt him down, he drags three M134 Gatling guns through the Any Door. Eighteen tongues of flame wipe out the cavalry. He then pours sand and mud via the portal to bury the battlefield, and paves a black asphalt road straight to the northern border.
