The story

Feng Lan was forcibly taken by Chen Shuting, a powerful underworld matriarch, and pushed into working in a questionable line of work. Recognizing Feng Lan's predicament, Qin Feng came to her aid. Admired by Xiao Qiancheng, a revered figure with mystical powers, Qin Feng was offered refuge along with Feng Lan. However, Qin Feng was soon betrayed by the very organization he had devoted his loyalty to, and barely managed to escape, severely injured. He was rescued by Su Wanqing but chose to leave in order to protect her from any involvement.

Five years later, having achieved a position of great authority and influence, Qin Feng returned to marry Su Wanqing, only to find her subjected to relentless pressure and unfair treatment by her family. He resolved to put an end to the injustice once and for all.
