NeoRAGE
The Neo-Geo Arcade Game Emulator
The authors of this emulator are two guys that love programming and old arcade games. Their main goal is to emulate as many Neo-Geo games as possible. They have decided to work only in assembler because they love the language and it gives the best possible performance, so as many people as possible will be able to play the games. They will only be supporting the PC users only, because assembler is not all that easy to port.

NeoRAGE was the first known Neo-Geo emulator. More recently, other emulators, such as MAME, have begun emulating the Neo-Geo system. NeoRAGE is available in a DOS version, and a DirectX version.
NeoRAGE has an impressive amount of supported games, most of which are listed below:

This emulator was also the subject of some
controversy earlier this year, as a hacked version popped up on the Internet. The
authors, needless to say, were not too about it. (I don't blame them, I would be
upset if someone hacked my hard work.)
This emulator can be downloaded directly from it's
homepage.
NOTE: In order to run this emulator, you must have the emulator itself, and a copy of the ROM's from the original system. The emulator itself is Freeware. The ROM's are copyrighted by the programmer or the manufacturer. You are only legally entitled to do so if you own the actual game, or a PCB/ROM Cartridge from the game that you are emulating. If you decide to download ROM's to test out an emulator, you must delete the ROM's within 24 hours unless you own the equipment mentioned above.
ROM's may be found at many sites, including EMUCLASSICS.
